Mirror, mirror on the wall, what's the fairest social media tool of all?
When you think of social media as a tool, what’s the first thing that pops into your head? Facebook, with all its niche pages like photography groups? Or maybe Instagram, where one hashtag can send you spiraling into a black hole of 10,000 perfectly filtered posts on that one exact topic?
Well, in my humble (but honestly correct) opinion, there’s a clear winner here: YouTube. It’s the ultimate hub for step-by-step tutorials and a stage for showing off your totally cool skill set. I’m the kind of person who needs to see things to get them—need to learn how to jump-start your car? YouTube’s got you. Want new workout ideas but refuse to talk to gym people? Boom. YouTube. Personally, I swear by Grow with Jo for all my fitness needs—she brings the sweat and the sass.
Did you know that on YouTube you can find a day in the life of an Instructional Designer? This just goes to prove my point you can find everything on YouTube. So yeah—when it comes to social media tools that actually do something for you, YouTube isn’t just the fairest of them all. It’s the real MVP, no magic mirror required.
Don't agree? Let’s battle old school—You bring the arguments, I’ll bring the dial-up tone and a PowerPoint from 2002.
