Dear Diary: Social Media is on My Last Nerve This Week

Ugh. Let me just start by saying: I hate all social media this week. Every. Single. Platform.

So here’s what went down—
Remember how Chat GPT crafted what I thought was the perfect Reddit post. I double-checked the rules, searched to make sure no one had asked my question before, dotted all the i’s, crossed all the t’s… the whole nine yards. I hit submit and waited for the upvotes to roll in like the confident content queen I am.

But guess what?
THE MODERATORS TOOK IT DOWN.
No explanation, no "Hey bestie, maybe tweak this next time"—nothing. Just gone. Vanished. Yeeted into the void.

At least on Facebook they let everyone post. Your aunt? She’s posting 14 minion memes a day. Your neighbor’s cat? Basically has its own group. But noooo, not Reddit. Apparently, you need a PhD in Postology to be deemed worthy of hitting their sacred front page.

And here’s the part that really gets me heated: there are plenty of posts still up on the same thread that CLEARLY break the rules. Posts with questions that have been asked—and answered—a thousand times. But sure, let’s take mine down. 🙃

Honestly, do you think they’re just jealous of my cute little avatar? Is that it? I spent a solid 15 minutes picking that perfect outfit and hair combo. Maybe that was the real crime.

Anyway, catch me lurking silently for the rest of the week with a dramatic flair and a passive-aggressive flair emoji. 🫠
